After years of homeschooling my kids while holding down a job outside my home, I was left feeling stretched thin and half dead. I’d look in the mirror and see only a shell of the person I once was. I felt lost, unhappy, and invisable.
I had spent all my time focusing all my energy on my family without giving a thought to my own needs or desires. It wasn’t until I hit the point where I had nothing left to give and couldn’t see a way out that I realized something needed to change.
I started looking for a solution. Through my research, I discovered I had taken care of everyone except myself and in doing so, had become resentful and full of despair.
